When Michaela and Josh first reached out to me and told me their September wedding would take place at Haak’s Winery and Vineyard I was beyond excited. It has been on my bucket list since I moved to Houston. While a midsummer wedding there would be brutally hot, early fall would be perfect!
Little did I know that it would be the fall of unending rain. Seriously it has rained almost every day in Houston for 6 straight weeks. I was crossing my fingers and praying to all the gods I know to just not let the sky fall out until after the ceremony.
And apparently I have some karmic good credit stored up because I got my wish! While I didn’t want to take them throughout the vineyard and across the mini lakes that had now formed, it was still beautiful with the greenery in the background. The clouds parted just as we did their just married portraits and the glow was gorgeous.
These two love birds had such a beautiful ceremony and I’m in love with their images!
