There’s something about Downtown Galveston that has an old-world vibe that I am just drawn to. It reminds me of my hometown in Georgia. You’d expect to hear jazz performers playing smooth sax on every corner. I love the Roof Garden venue, with its white walls and charming details. Krystal and Marc’s classic style, soft blush and cranberry accents, and timeless elegance were the perfect compliment.
The skies were windy and the air was so thick with humidity that we needed headlights in the middle of the afternoon, but we somehow avoided the predicted rain. The couple said their vows on the balcony and afterwards we walked the crowded streets of downtown Galveston for their romantic portraits.
DJ Jeffery was one of the best DJs I have ever worked with and woulds highly recommend him to all of our couples. He really know how to get people laughing and dancing and there was never a lull in the night. Their guests danced the conga, had an awesome soul train line, and partied for hours before ending the night in a fun, albeit windy, sparkler exit!
” Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.” Ann Landers
