Chelsea and Patrick were married in a sweet ceremony at Moody Methodist Church in Galveston in early June. Chelsea wore a stunning horsehair tulle gown with a beaded bodice that made my jaw drop. It looked so beautiful on her and I LOVE the way it photographs. Plus, you know I love tulle.
The couple preferred not to see each other before they wedding, so in lieu of a first look they exchanged gifts just moments before they said their vows. Patrick gave Chelsea the gorgeous jewelry from Fullen that she wore during the ceremony, and Chelsea gave Patrick a watch from the King Ranch Saddle Shop. They both wrote each other love notes.
Patrick’s wedding band was the bride’s grandfather’s, which had her grandparents initials and wedding anniversary engraved on it. Joshua at Designer Jewels Inc engraved Chelsea and Patrick’s initials and wedding date on it as well. It just makes that ring all the more special.
The heat and humidity were both brutal that day , with not a cloud in sight to shade them. But we did find a small patch of flowers for a few romantic portraits. After their grand entrance to their reception at Sea Star Base we sneaked outside for some fun photos on the water. After a few hours of dancing and a quick trip outside for the fireworks, the couple had a glow stick send off, and ended their wedding day with a private sailboat ride!
