Michael and Maria met at a restaurant, where they worked together. The restaurant has since closed, but Maria and Michael are going strong.
Michael is a musician, and his passion for creating music and writing lyrics are some of the things Maria loves most about him.
Michael loves Maria’s laugh. “We can crack up laughing nonstop over anything, everything makes her laugh.”
Michael proposed on Maria’s birthday November 2019 with his grandmother’s ring (everybody say awwwww).
“I started off the day singing her a song I wrote for her and then we went to the Renaissance Festival. I had already told my friends I was going to do it and they helped me out. I proposed to her in the enchanted meadow in front of a bunch of festival goers and I was so nervous I forgot I had a bunch of stuff we bought in my hands and my friend barely managed to snatch all the stuff out of my hands. My exact words were ‘You wanna marry or something?’ obviously she said YES.“
Maria and Michael recently adopted the cutest pup, a basset hound named Boo, so of course we HAD to bring Boo in for a few family photos.
Also, doesn’t Maria look stunning in our new blush tulle skirt? I need to add that to the wardrobe list on our website, but I just love the long train. And the color is so pretty.
Maria and Micahel are getting married next spring at Ashton Gardens West. Maria can’t wait to get all glammed up and dance the night away. Michael’s looking forward to custom cocktails. But of course they are both looking forward to finally getting married! We can’t wait either!
