Kristen and Blaine are just…MY PEOPLE. They’re the kind of people you want to grab a beer with. Kristen and I, we just click. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, has my same sense of humor and she and Blaine are just as laid back as they come. I’m really looking forward to hanging out with them again. Soon.
And neither one of them can take a bad photograph. Geez, just look at them. There shouldn’t be THAT much attractiveness allowed per couple.
Kristen and Blaine were married in August at Saint John the Divine, with their reception held at the prestigious River Oaks Country Club. It was my first time shooting there and I was very impressed. It’s gorgeous. No one wanted to step outside in the sweltering summer heat for portraits, myself included, but luckily there was a giant room with beautiful natural light, so we managed to stay cool. The whole day was a ball of laughter (oh my gosh her bridesmaids cracked me up) and just a few happy tears. Kristen’s father’s toast was certainly a highlight.
I loved all her details, but the most amazing one was her dress. Kristen had a hand in designing it! She picked the most interesting and beautiful lace. It was a show stopper and it hugged her in all the right places. And I loved that she put on Keds after the ceremony.
These two are just amazing people and I can’t wait to feature them in our upcoming video!
