This was a shoot I had been DREAMING about for months.
As wedding photographers, we don’t often get a say in our clients’ style, decor, and color scheme. So one way to showcase new ideas, or simply to work with new vendors and venues, is to do a styled shoot.
That’s where we set the style and other vendors volunteer their time and services in exchange for use of the photos and video. Most of the content that you see in bridal magazines was created this way.
It’s no secret that one of my favorite places in Houston is the Oak Atelier. When I learned that they were building an all white glasshouse I nearly lost it. This is the place where my dreams are made.
I contacted Kelly Diaz at So sweet Bridal and asked if she’d be interested in pouring hundreds of man hours into this project with me. Thankfully, she said yes 🙂
We were lucky to work with some amazing vendors, including Moji Calligraphy and Cakes by Gina. These may be some of my favorite photos ever!

Wow!! I’m blown away. This is some of your best work, definitely magazine quality. I hope your collective talents are recognized and rewarded. Did So Sweet Bridal style this or did you, or both? Whomever did, it’s just stunning. Congratulations to all of you on a job well done. I’m so proud of you.
