This Boho Boudoir shoot was over a year in the making and I’m SO happy to finally share it! It’s definitely a departure from my usual style, but I love it nonetheless.
The reason for this shoot was three-fold. First, I just love photographing Chloe. She’s a model that I’ve had the pleasure of working with on several styled shoots and she and I have a great working reporte’.
The second reason was to check out a new studio option, The Local Studios in Baytown. When it comes to boudoir, or any type of indoor session, location is EVERYTHING. I typically use the Oak Atelier in Conroe and I love it, but Conroe is a bit of a drive, not just for me, but for many of my clients. I wanted another option, so we were testing it out.
While the Oak Atelier has a timeless, modern European style, with it’s beautiful windows, light concrete floors, white brick walls, and the amazing all-white greenhouse with antique windows and marble floor; the Local Studios has great natural light, a lot of furniture options, and tons of wardrobe and accessories to play around with (the salmon-colored dress she wears towards the end of the shoot was part of the Local Studio’s wardrobe). My favorite set piece was this Persian-style rug that I used to create a boho set for Chloe’s session. But they have tons of other benches and ottomans in different styles and colors, and like 9 racks of clothes, all included in the rental fee.
The third reason was to model my newest lingerie pieces! I was so excited for the leather harness and the red garter set and I LOOOOOOVE how well it worked with the Boho setup.
