One of my favorite things about being a photographer that shoots more than just weddings is that I get to be there for SO MANY sweet moments in my client’s lives. Usually it’s her boudoir session, that often leads to a proposal (they liked it, so they put a ring on it, know what I’m sayin, lol). Then I get to hang out with her again at their engagement session, her bridal portraits, a bridal shower, then the wedding day! Sometimes it’s a one year anniversary session to celebrate surviving planning a wedding or buying their first home together 🙂
But the best part is when the babies start coming! I just love a round pregnant belly, they’re so cute. AND they lead to babies, which are even cuter 🙂
So I had the pleasure of getting to know Nikki and Keri at their engagement session at Enchanted Rock several years ago and again at their wedding in the summer of 2019. That was a beautiful day. So much has happened in their lives over the last few years but the most exciting is that they are fostering kids AND cooking one up from scratch at the same time! I don’t know how they do it. Thankfully they had time in their busy schedules to do a maternity session because I am in love with these images! You can just feel how much they love each other and baby Caelan in each frame.
Nikki and Keri, Steven and I are so happy for you and your growing family and just give us a call when you need a babysitter. Seriously I am craving snuggling up with a little baby and my new-mom days are long (looooooong) gone, so feel free to pack up the whole brood and drop them off at our place when you need a break. Just a heads up, I will be nibbling on some toes.
